Cooperation that works in practice

On April 9-10, as part of the “Restart of Sister City Cooperation” project, a study visit was held for representatives of the cities of Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Karviná, and Havířov. The participants visited sites related to cross-border tourism projects in our border region. Among them were examples that can serve as a reference point and inspiration for future activities.

The itinerary included:

- The Naturalist’s House in Hażlach,
- The Oświęcim Chamber - a model of the cement plant in Goleszów,
- Przytulia - the Beskid Herb House in Brenna,
- The Garden of Tradition in Jasienica,
- The Habsburg Settlement in Wisła Czarne,
- The Tripoint in Jaworzynka,
- The Wooden Cottage in Nýdek,
- MUS-IC in Bystřice,
- The Archeopark in Chotěbuz.

We are pleased that the "Olza" Association for Development and Regional Cooperation was a co-organizer of the visit, which was carried out as part of the Small Projects Fund of the Interreg Czech Republic-Poland Program, and that the initiative itself is part of a series of activities related to the Polish-Czech-Slovak EuroInstitute.
