We share our experiences!
Recently, we hosted representatives from Serbian organizations in Kosovo at the headquarters of the Polish side of the Euroregion Cieszyn Silesia as part of a study visit across Cieszyn Silesia.
The aim of the project, which included this visit, was to establish cooperation between minority organizations from the Visegrad Group and Serbian organizations from Kosovo, integrating them into a minority cooperation network. The project also focused on the exchange of experiences on minority participation in decision-making processes at local and regional levels and the development of strategies for articulating the needs and interests of minorities on the political level. Based on the collected experiences, a comparative analysis will be prepared to identify best practices enabling minority political participation.
During the meeting, we introduced our guests to the specificities of the Polish-Czech border region, the Polish minority and Polish diaspora organizations operating in the Czech Republic, as well as the projects carried out in this area with partners in the TEIN network, of which the "Olza" Association is an active member.
