Debate Polish-Czech cooperation: yesterday, today and tomorrow?
On 1 May, a unique debate entitled "Polish-Czech cooperation: yesterday, today and tomorrow?" took place at the Cross-Border Tourist Information Centre in Cieszyn.
The meeting was hosted by Tomáš Balcar and Marek Olszewski, and the speakers included people who know literally everything about cross-border cooperation! Speakers from the Czech side included Dagmar Valášková (Euroregion Beskydy) and Jaroslav Štefek (Euroregion Glacensis), while from the Polish side Jan Olbrycht (former member of the European Parliament, co-founder of the Euroregion Śląsk Cieszyński) and Paweł Szymkowicz (Mayor of Głuchołazy, Vice-president of the Euroregion Pradziad) took part.
We talked about how it is worth combining experience with modernity, how it is worth acting together across borders, learning from each other - because this is what gives the greatest satisfaction and real effects!
It was an extremely inspiring afternoon full of reflections, ideas and concretes.
