International forum in Catalonia
On 9, 11 and 18 March 2021, an international forum took place on the Franco-Spanish border, organized within the framework of the "TEIN4citizens" project, in which the Association for Development and Regional Cooperation "Olza" is a project partner. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was conducted online by the University of Girona (Universitat de Girona).
Its theme was multilingualism and identity in the 21st century Europe. Experts and citizens participating in the virtual meeting had the opportunity to discuss the role of language from a philosophical and anthropological point of view in European institutions and in border regions.
The project "TEIN4citizens - Engaging civil society in cross-border regional cooperation for the future of Europe" was co-funded by the Europe for Citizens Programme. The lead partner of the project is the Euro-Institut in Kehl and the partners are, in addition to the Association for Development and Regional Cooperation "Olza", the following institution: Centrum přeshraničních studií, Université de Strasbourg, Université de Perpignan via Domitia, Fachhochschule Kärnten - gemeinnützige Privatstiftung, University of Ljubljana, Universitat de Girona, Institut EuroSchola.
