Summer with the EuroInstitute has already finished

On 30 July 2020, the implementation of “Summer School of cross-border cooperation” came to an end. This series of events, such as:  specialised training courses, cross-border causeries, debates, and a hybrid international conference, was organised as a part of “Summer with the EuroInstitute” and “EURO-IN.NET” project implemented by Stowarzyszenie Rozwoju i Współpracy Regionalnej „Olza” and Institut EuroSchola.

The series of six specialised training courses was transmitted live by the use of webcast technology. The training instructors were experts in the given issues. The webinars focused on the following topics:

  1. Cross-border partnerships and best practises in Polish-Czech cooperation.
  2. Funding for cross-border projects, taking into account best practices in partner cooperation.
  3. Best practices in Polish-Czech and French-German cross-border cooperation.
  4. Funding for cross-border projects, taking into account best practices in cooperation with the youth.
  5. Collaboration in tourism. Mountain biking MTB. The Beskids as an example of a collective offer of the borderland.
  6. Collaboration in tourism. Territorial brands and collective tourist offers as driving force for prosperity of the Polish-Czech-Slovak borderland.

 

The hybrid cross-border causeries were held on the premises – in the conference hall in Liburnia hotel in Cieszyn and via live transmission. They focused on the issues of cross-border cooperation at a time of the pandemic. In turn, the 2nd cross-border debate “How has the lock down influenced our lives on the borderland?” constituted the recapitulation of the causeries.   

 

A final event of “Summer with the EuroInstitute” as well as of “EURO-IN.NET” project was an international closing conference which also promotes the 7th volume of the series “TRANSCARPATHICA”. The Director of the Euro-Institut in Kehl was one of the participants of the conference, who took part in it via a videoconference system.
