Summer with the EuroInstitute | Summer school of cross-border cooperation
Stowarzyszenie Rozwoju i Współpracy Regionalnej „Olza” and Institut EuroSchola are preparing “Summer with the EuroInstitute”, namely a series of online and hybrid activities which will be held under the banner of “Summer School of cross-border cooperation” as a part of “EURO-IN.NET” project, during the last two weeks of July:
1 | 20-24 and 27 July, 2.00 - 4.00 p.m., webinars transmitted on FB channel of Euroregion Śląsk Cieszyński – a series of specialised training courses: 20.07.2020.: Cross-border partnerships and best practises in Polish-Czech cooperation; 21.07.2020.: Funding for cross-border projects, taking into account best practices in partner cooperation; 22.07.2020.: Best practices in Polish-Czech and French-German cross-border cooperation; 23.07.2020.: Funding for cross-border projects, taking into account best practices in cooperation with the youth; 24.07.2020.: Collaboration in tourism. Mountain biking MTB. The Beskids as an example of a collective offer of the borderland; 27.07.2020.: Collaboration in tourism. Territorial brands and collective tourist offers as driving force for prosperity of the Polish-Czech-Slovak borderland.
2 | 28 July, 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m., six hybrid causeries (on the premises – in the conference hall in Liburnia hotel in Cieszyn and via live transmission) as follows: 1. The image of the neighbour. Polish and Czech media at the time of pandemic; 2. The impact of the pandemic on the cross-border collaboration of local governments; 3. Cross-border cooperation and the social aspect of the pandemic; 4. Cross-border labour market at the time of pandemic. What about its future? ; 5. The pandemic and the cooperation in the EU; 6. The future of the Polish-Czech-Slovak cross-border cooperation in the context of the pandemic. The causeries will be recapitulated during the 2nd cross-border debate “How has the lock down influenced our lives on the borderland?”
3 | 30 July, 11.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m., a hybrid closing conference (on the premises – in the conference hall in Liburnia hotel in Cieszyn and via live transmission) which also promotes the 7th volume of the series “TRANSCARPATHICA”

We kindly invite representatives of the local governments and universities, students, young people and all inhabitants of our borderland to participate in the above-mentioned events. Borders, borderlands, and intercultural education acquired a slightly different dimension during the pandemic, and we want to cope with the resulting problems during the Summer School.
